How to Join the TWL Hiking Club

Who We Are

Meet your Hiking Club Leader. Chelsea is a high school English teacher, avid hiker, mother, and all around nature lover. You can find her on Instagram @teacherwhohikes

We are a community of hikers. It’s as simple as that! It doesn’t matter if you are just starting out or if you’ve been trail trekking since you were a toddler, the TWL Hiking Club is a place for hikers of all skill levels and backgrounds. When you become a member, you gain access to a community of encouragement and information. The TWL Hiking Club is a place to talk, share pictures, stories, location reviews, video, trail tips and tricks, and hiking hacks.

How it Works

Becoming a member is easy (and free). Use the official hashtag, #TWLHikingClub on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook and we will share your pictures and stories! You can also join our Facebook group to swap stories or share tips and pictures. Want to share an experience with the entire TWL Community? You can submit your stories using the form below for a chance to be a featured guest contributor. That’s it! As time goes on, we will begin hosting hikes and selecting hike leaders around the country.

Share Your Stories

In an effort to keep telling trail tales and further our hiking club, we are dedicating at least one TWL Hiking Club Tuesday a month to OUR STORIES.

If you have a story about or from hiking please do not hesitate to share. We will totally feature your story and pictures. To contact us with your story, message me on Instagram, @teacherwhohikes. You can also message The Wild Life on Facebook or use the form on the main hiking club page here.

Group Hikes

Our first meet up has been scheduled! It will be at a park in Central Minnesota, Quarry Park. August 25th at 5 pm, we will be meeting at the main trail entrance of Quarry Park in Waite Park, MN. This is the first of many we plan to do, so be sure to be on the lookout for more dates and locations, or join the group to help organize future hikes.

The Wild Life is listener, reader, and viewer supported. If you believe in what we are doing, you can show your support by becoming a patron here.
