Dispatches from Somewhere #2: Pretzel Top

I didn’t have mushroom left on my camera roll, so I thought I might as well go ahead and post this old fungi-photo. It’s an American Eastern Yellow Fly Agaric, or what I like to call them, Pretzel Tops. They are poisonous. In fact 90% of mushroom fatalities are from Amanita mushrooms like this one. They are also hallucinogenic. Squirrels are also known to cache and eat them!
