Find Your Rep

Making changes in your own life and taking steps to expand your knowledge on important issues is nothing short of fantastic. Unfortunately, making changes to the person in the mirror is only the first step. There are over 7 billion more people on earth, corporations, governments, and cultures that all have different views and priorities. After making changes in your life, work to change the world around you. You can start small by talking and sharing ideas with friends, family, and neighbors. Become a member of grassroots based organizations which align with your values. Go pro by getting involved in the political process. I’m not saying to run for office (though, go for it if that’s what floats your boat!). What you can do though is petition, contact your representatives, go town halls or local recreation board meetings.Every action you can take,no matter how small, is more than you may have been doing before and has the potential to create real change.
