Unless you have been living under a rock, or you’re Jared Leto emerging from a two-week meditation camp, you are all acutely aware that we are in the midst of a global pandemic. As a result, many schools are either closed or shifting to distance learning models. My district is one of them. In addition to running The Wild Life, I am a high school physics, biology, and geometry teacher. In the past, I’ve used amazing connectivity and #SciComm programs such as Skype a Scientist and absolutely loved it, and it is those things which serve as the inspiration for this idea.

While we are all homeschooling/remotely/digitally educating our kids, if you need assistance with understanding something that has been assigned for your child, or if you need more resources, or if you simply want to Skype a Science Teacher (me!) who may be able to help answer questions, just fill out the Google Form linked to below! I will be happy to answer questions as best I can and as frequently as my own schedule allows. We WILL get through this! #bettertogether
If I can’t help you, odds are I know someone awesome who can! Which is also why the form below exists—for other science educators to sign up!
